                 The Library Partnership Recognized by Harvard’s Bright Ideas Program Only three libraries were recognized nationally by Harvard’s Bright Ideas Program, and the Library Partnership was one of them, due to its innovative concept.                  Florida Library Association’s Friends, Foundations and Boards Member Group Fall 2010 Regional Workshops Mr. Hirsch presented the item and asked Trustees to determine if they will attend the workshop on December 13, 2010 at the Millhopper Branch and inform Ms.                 Library allegra d symptoms District Press Releases and Publicity Mr. Hirsch gave an overview of the Imagining the Library program allegra d symptoms that ACLD is collaborating on with UF.   A program was held at Millhopper Branch on September 27, 2010, about the social history of libraries, and another will be held on December 2, 2010, about the “Digital Generation. ” The Literacy Festival was held on October 2, 2010, and was a success.   He also highlighted the article about the East Gainesville Initiative and explained that the input from that organization helped move the Cone Park project forward.

Hirsch reported that the fiscal year ended well financially, and ACLD is well within budget. Hirsch and his staff deserve an auditorium worth of applause for all that has been accomplished this year. Monroe asked if ACLD has considering establishing scooter or motorcycle parking in front of Headquarters Library. Hirsch responded that he has not received any requests but would allegra d symptoms look into it if patrons ask.   Parking spaces are in high demand, allegra d symptoms and there would not be allegra d symptoms much room to carve out scooter or allegra d symptoms motorcycle parking. Monroe asked about the Homework Help that is available at the Library Partnership.   The program is run by volunteers, and the Library Partnership provides a lot of flexibility with its meeting room policy.
