We will redesign the Headquarters third floor, initiate the design phase to expand the Headquarters Youth Services area, redesign the first floor workspaces, and create a staging area to shelve returned materials. Our budget also includes funding to renovate the Micanopy branch and remodel the Tower Road branch libraries. We will also identify recurring revenue opportunities for leasing of Library District space and State and Federal grants. We will enhance programming by collaborating with other community organizations in jointly promoting and sponsoring events directed to families and the general public, adults, teens, seniors, and groups with special interests. We will continue to make use of volunteers to assist staff in providing library services.
