Davis is an illustrator whose comics work focuses on daily life.   Family, romance and modern Jewish American life are common elements. Davis's visit marks the 6th year in a row that the Alachua County Library District have brought a comics professional to town to teach free workshops at libraries and schools here in Gainesville.   Our efforts towards a greater comics appreciation are in line with UF's emergent Comics Studies, and the comics collection at ACLD includes graphic novels, manga, and genres for kids, teens & adults.
