  Returning home after an illness can be a difficult time in our lives. Many people find they need some extra support to be able to stay in their homes while they are recuperating. This help is now available for Marion County seniors who may not qualify financially for other programs.

 The Elder Options Community Living Program provides temporary services to qualifying seniors in Marion County. This short term help is for seniors who are being discharged from the hospital, are living temporarily in a nursing home, or are rehabilitation center patients. Depending on the need, these might include personal care, medical equipment & supplies, home delivered meals or transportation. Other services are available, based on an individual assessment. Captioned videos and DVD's with subtitles in many languages are available to check out. If you are disabled or find it difficult to leave home, arrange for allegra goodman other side library materials to be delivered to your home—apply for Homebound service.   Each spring, tax help, provided by the American Association of Retired Persons, is allegra goodman other side offered at allegra hicks designer collection several libraries within the system. org   PrimeTime Institute / ElderCare of Alachua County A program of ElderCare of Alachua County, PrimeTime allegra goodman other side Institute (PTI) provides educational programs and social activities intent on keeping seniors active, healthy and participating in lifelong learning through low cost, sociable networking. PTI is operated by volunteers and is self-funded through membership, donations, fundraising, etc.

ElderCare of Alachua County is a non-profit organization providing a wide variety of services for seniors such as Meals on Wheels, Alz Place, etc.     As members of the allegra goodman other side 50+ crowd we all have questions about how to cope as we age. The PrimeTime Institute has two or more monthly hour and-a-half programs offering information on topics important to the active 50+ population. A vast range of topics are presented by local specialists and professionals such as authors, doctors, lawyers, college professors, artists, and area personalities. Arranged by a cadre of volunteers, the programs keep the 50+ participants informed, enlightened and entertained. Member suggestions for programs are encouraged as our contacts grow out through the community. Our intent is to keep allegra goodman other side our members active, healthy, and participating in lifelong learning in a low cost, sociable environment of their peers.
