Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Pay Plans for Bargaining Unit, Confidential, Non Bargaining Unit and At-Will Employees and Intern and Temporary Service Rates of Pay Staff Recommended Action: Adopt the Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Pay Plans as presented; High School Interns rate of pay at Minimum Wage; and pay rates for employees appointed to Temporary Service to be set at the minimum rate of the appropriate salary range. Board of Trustees Appointment (County Representative) Staff Recommended Action: Appoint one applicant to the Alachua County Library District Board of Trustees to serve through March 31, 2012, the remainder of the vacant County Representative term. Library Director Sol Hirsch presented the above item. Governor Henry stated that Ora allegra hicks home furnishings White is his sister-in-law and requested that the County Attorney comment on whether that constituted a conflict of interest. Chair Roy recognized Ora White who presented comments to the Board. Chair Roy recognized County Attorney David Wagner, who stated that because there was no financial implication, Governor Henry could vote on the appointment. In addition, authorize allegra hicks home furnishings the Library Director to execute the GRU Solar Energy Purchase Agreement (SEPA) and assign it to the lessor upon execution of the lease.
