The Foundation's major goal is to build an endowment that will provide funds for the Library District on an annual basis. Funds for the endowment are generated through Foundation membership dues, Author Galas, memorial and gift recognition leaves on Katherine's Tree at the Headquarters Library, and gift donations. On occasion, the Foundation has chosen to support special projects for the library district.
