Battle of the Books is a summer long program for teens.   Each branch has a team of teens that will read the same books throughout the summer, meeting up weekly to discuss and train cluminating in a final triva battle on August 13th against all of allegra samples the other ACLD branches.   allegra samples Millhoppers BotB team is now looking for recruits for this summers program.   Our first meeting will be on Monday, June 13th: 5:00 - 6:00 in Meeting Room B.   Team meetings for Millhopper Branch will be on each following Monday: 4:30 - 5:30 through August 8th.   allegra samples All BotB team members will recieve participation prizes and volunteer hours. Some team meetings will have snacks provided by Moe's Southwest Grill. In this competition teens read books from a designated list and then demonstrate their knowledge in a final battle at the end of the summer.   Our meetings are allegra samples held every Thursday from 5 - 6 pm; June 16 - August 12 and will be spent organizing the Tower team, quizzing each other on what we've read, allegra samples and having fun!   You may contact Heather at the Tower Road Branch Library for allegra samples more information.     The final battle, sponsored by our friends at Moe's Southwest allegra samples Grill, will be held at the Headquarters Library on Saturday, August 13, 2011. And don't forget, you can always pick up your favorite children's books at your nearest ACLD library!   If you don't see it on the shelves or in our catalog, just ask us!
