Training and accident investigation are responsibilities of the Department Manager. Each department and branch will hold a monthly safety meeting to discuss safety issues. Minutes will be maintained for each meeting and forwarded to the Facility/Safety Services Administrator for review. The Safety Review Committee will review all accidents and make recommendations allegra cole com to the Management/Union Safety Committee on whether or not the accident was preventable. The Safety Review Committee will make recommendations to the Management/Union Safety Committee on proposed revisions to safety policies and procedures. The Management/Union Safety Committee’s recommendations are then reviewed by the Library Director. Employees should report unsafe conditions and not perform unsafe work tasks.

Employees must report all accidents, injuries, near misses and unsafe conditions to their supervisors. No such report will result in retaliation or penalty. Management will give top priority to correcting unsafe conditions. Management may discipline an employee who willfully or repeatedly violates workplace safety rules. Disciplinary action may include written reprimands, and may ultimately result in termination of employment.

Library Membership in Community and Civic allegra x-22 Organizations -A +A Approved by: Board of Trustees 8/21/02; 11/18/09 Approved by: Governing Board 10/24/02; 12/10/09 Policy The Library District plays an active role in the community by making connections and developing relationships with local civic, cultural and educational organizations, both public and private. To this end, the Library District staff attends and/or participates in the activities of certain community allegra x-22 organizations that may require membership fees. On June 13, 2002 the Library District Governing Board allegra x-22 declared payment of memberships in local Alachua allegra x-22 County community and civic allegra x-22 organizations as a public purpose. The Library Director will make the final decision on which organizations the Library District joins and, if allegra x-22 appropriate, designate a staff representative to the organization. The organization will promote and support the mission of the Alachua County Library District as defined in the Library Mission Statement and Service Responses. The organization will have a not-for-profit and nonpartisan mission that will benefit from consistent contact with Library District resources and services. The organization will provide opportunities to broaden exposure of Library District services and resources to the community at large and to target populations, particularly nonusers. The organization will certify compliance with the Public Records provisions of Section 119. If an organization the Library has joined takes a stance on a political issue, the Library District will not participate in any allegra rich chicago such political action, but will restrict itself to support for the organization's general mission.

A Library District representative will limit his/her support to allegra x-22 the general mission of the organization and may not participate in any political action or support positions that would conflict with Library District policies or mission. Library District representatives are free to express their personal opinions if it is clear those opinions are their own and not representative of the Library District.
