  There was discussion regarding the library to be built on the eastside of Gainesville.   It was agreed that the Eastside Library should be a stellar building like the Alachua Branch. Hirsch reviewed the new format for Statistics which includes a summary page.

  The November 2009 Statistical Report will be distributed in January 2010. There was a brief discussion regarding the definition of “Drupal”, an open software used as a website content management system. Hirsch briefly reviewed the press release and publicity included in the agenda packet. Hirsch asked Trustees to add the 8:00 AM, allegra side effects elderly January 26, 2009, Board of Trustees meeting with the Alachua County Legislative Delegation and/or their staff to their calendars.   The meeting will be held at the Library Partnership. The Foundation will hold its Annual Meeting at the Library after open hours on Sunday, September 19, 2010.    The Friends of the Library will also hold their Annual meeting at Headquarters Library on Sunday, September 26, 2010.   The Foundation has added an additional meeting on October 14, 2010 allegra goodman latest book at 5:15 pm, prior to the November 7 GALA.

        UNFINISHED BUSINESS             (No items submitted in this category.         Proposed Putnam, Alachua, Levy County Library Cooperative Mr. Hirsch, Library Director, gave an overview of the proposed PAL (Putnam, Alachua, Levy) Library Cooperative.   A discussion followed regarding Library Cooperatives and the benefits to small public libraries that have low budgets and can provide basic services only, such as Putnam and Levy Public Libraries, as well as the benefits to ACLD. Hirsch also explained how Library Cooperatives are formed, administered, funded, and how ACLD is eligible to be a part of a Cooperative.
